Remembering Richie Tierney
It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the sudden passing of Richie Tierney, a dear friend of Michael Lyng and of all at Michael Lyng Motors. Richie was not only a passionate and dedicated leader within the Rower Inistioge GAA Club, but he was also a man of great integrity, generosity, and warmth—qualities that made him such a valued friend to Michael and to our business as a whole.
His unwavering commitment to his club and community was inspiring, and his leadership left a lasting impact on those around him. Whether it was through his role as Chairman, his tireless work in coaching, or his dedication to club fundraising, Richie was at the heart of everything that made the Rower Inistioge GAA Club special.
We offer our deepest condolences to Richie’s wife Josette, his children Michelle, Richard, Pat, and Geraldine, Brother Michael, Sister Catherine, Grandkids and all of his extended family and friends. His presence will be truly missed, but his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.
