The Hyundai Tucson is now available with 48V hybrid engines that limit fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This system reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 11% (in the correlated NEDC cycle) according to vehicle specifications. Available in combination with the 1.6 CRDi 115 hp and 1.6 CRDi 136 hp engines, the 48V hybrid system provides an additional 12 kW of power to the combustion engine during start - up and acceleration phases.
