Featuring a stand out design with a robust, yet compact SUV profile, Hyundai's new INSTER will make its global debut in late June during the Busan International Mobility Show. With its bold wheel arches, distinctive LED lighting, SUV-styling and higher ride height – this electric city car will soon have heads turning all across Europe.
INSTER catches the eye with its bold wheel arches, flush, clean surfaces and strong SUV styling. Circuit board-style bumpers and bold skid plates make a strong statement in the front and rear.
INSTER's personality shines through in its signature LED daytime running lights and pixel-graphic turn signals and tail lamps – a design element shared with other members of the Hyundai EV family.
With its dimensions, INSTER is positioned squarely between traditional A-segment city cars and larger B-segment models. This gives you the manoeuvrability and higher seating position that you expect from a small SUV, but with enhanced practicality and flexibility thanks to a more spacious interior and improved luggage capacity.1
In its sleek cockpit, INSTER provides enhanced technology and convenience with a brilliant 10.25” digital cluster and a 10.25” infotainment touchscreen with navigation.
The wireless charging dock is integrated into the compact centre console, which has been designed to create a greater sense of spaciousness.
Available with top of the range EV features like Vehicle-to-Load technology, the new INSTER can be equipped with a choice of a 42 kWh battery or a Long-Range 49 kWh battery. Both models are powered by a single motor that delivers 71.1 kW (97 PS) in the base variant and 84.5 kW (115 PS) in the Long-Range car.
Delivering a segment-leading all-electric driving range of 355 km (WLTP) on a single charge, INSTER is redefining what is possible from a small urban EV.2
INSTER can charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes using a 120 kW DC charging station. It also comes equipped with an 11 kW on-board charger so you can charge at home overnight.3
Alongside its segment-leading driving range and excellent charging performance, INSTER offers the most complete technology package in the segment with a multitude of advanced safety and driver assistance features.
Tight parking garage? Small car wash? No problem. The surround view monitor makes manoeuvring in confined spaces easy and safer.
No more blind spots, now you can see the rearward left and right-hand side views of the INSTER in the digital cluster. The cameras are activated by using the turn indicator during lane changes.
